A cardboard box

Last summer my neighbour bought some new furniture. She asked mom if she could give me the huge cardboard box. Mom let me have it. The box was so big that even mom could come and visit me in the box. The cardboard box was a great summer house for me and my friend who lives next door. We had the box for a week, until the first rain came.

New Year´s Eve

I celebrated the new year with my mom, dad and my sister. I didn´t go to sleep until very late!

Mmmm! I could have eaten all this by myself.

I wore goggles and my green Peltors. Last year the fire works scared me but now I am a big boy!

My mom made me a snack. Carrot slices, liver sausage and pickled cucumbers are all my favourites! The lingonberry not so much but I ate it, too, because it was so pretty.

Mom sometimes lets me carve a zucchini. It is lots of fun.

Helsinki Natural history museum

It has been really cold lately! -15 to -18 degrees Celsius most days. I still play outside for a while most days. Last Sunday my mom and dad decided that it was too cold to play outside and we went to the Natural history museum instead. We took the tram. I was surprised that the Natural history museum is so close to my favourite museum, the National museum. Now I remember to mention it every time I see the National museum.

I only took three photos in the museum although I saw many, many animals. And skeletons.

Grey December day

We still haven´t got any snow so I haven´t been skiing at all this winter. Mom and I went nordic walking today. My ski sticks are good for both skiing and nordic walking!

It is another grey day. It is not raining today. I don´t mind rain, though. Yesterday it was raining when I went to a forest trip with dad. We had a good time. I wore my rubber boots and my good rain clothes :) .

There was a flood in the park. I know that flood means that there is water where there should not be water.

I made waves in the water with my ski stick. The bubbles were lots of fun, too.

This is for saving someone from the water, my mom told me.

Someone had already thrown away a Christmas tree! That made me a little sad. I felt better when mom said that we will not throw our tree away for a long time.

We saw a long worm! And many of his friends. They made me a little bit scared because there were so many of them. Then I wanted to go home to play with my sister.

Christmas

It has been a while since mom last updated my blog. I have taken some photos, though, so maybe there will be more postings in the near future. We have a long Christmas holiday and more time to do everything :)!

Here are two photos from this morning.

Our Christmas tree. I decorated it with my dear big sister. I made the hearts with mom. Her friend Aino made the modeling clay that we used. I made the gingerbread together with mom. I love picking the gingerbread from the tree. But I am not allowed to eat them in the living room! Only in the kitchen :) .

Sometimes mom and dad let me watch some chilren´s program on the laptop. My favourite is Stella and Sam. I don´t like anything too scary like robots.
